CatholicCare and Marist180 need your help to spread the Family Spirit

In October 2017, CatholicCare and Marist180 joined together in the space of community support, foster care and adoption. The aim of this partnership was to learn and grow from both agencies deep knowledge and expertise in the area of foster care, youth and family services.

From this partnership, Family Spirit has grown.

We believe that by working together, we can foster better outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and families.

Family Spirit provides a wide range of family services ranging from services to help keep families together which includes support to build parenting skills, all types of foster care that provides safe and stable homes for children who cannot live with their birth families, through to adoption services for parents who are considering adoption for their baby and parents who would like to grow their family. We also provide ongoing support and services to young people who are transitioning from care to living independently.

Could you or someone you know provide short-term help for long-term memories? We urgently need compassionate people to provide short-term foster care.

Help us to create new and better memories for a vulnerable child. With short-term foster care you can help a child in need without making a life-long commitment. Some of these young people urgently need a safe haven with caring people; sometimes just one day can make a huge difference to a child’s life.

If you think you could open your home to children in need and would like more information about becoming a foster carer, please call us on 13 18 19 or email
